There are two of us. That is deliberate, and it is also a risk - if either of us stopped, the work would stall. The titles below describe what we actually do, not what looks good on a slide.

Founder - clinic and system design

Kal is a nurse practitioner and runs the clinic R47 grew out of. He designed the ANCHOR system and wrote its specification. He holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Miami, an MBA, a Master of Science in Nursing, and a Master of Project and Operations Management. Thirteen years of nursing - trauma, psychiatric, medical-surgical and community health - is where the idea came from. These are failures he watched happen, not ones found in a spreadsheet.

Joao Correa

Engineering - builds the software

Joao builds it. He takes Kal's specification and turns it into working software. A Brazilian developer and Computer Science graduate of Simon Fraser University, he works across AI, cloud infrastructure and web development.
